Auckland – Sky Tower

Auckland boasts it has the biggest, tallest and best Sky Tower in the Southern Hemisphere. This is undoubtedly true – Sydney’s is probably the closest rival and it’s a bit rubbish, and although new towers keep popping up in places like Malaysia and Dubai they’re not actually in the Southern Hemisphere. But this one isn’t huge by world standards. The main viewing decks are only on floors 51 and 60, dwarfed by Toronto’s 104 (which is really scary when a wind gets up) and by quite a few others.
